Trouble Shooting:
- Allow pop-ups from HKGFM.net. The ONLY pop-up we have is the Media Player Window.
- When listening in offices, there could be firewalls that disallows audio streams. Microsoft's general help can offer solutions or even talk with your offices network administrator.
- If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer, check your security settings. High security settings may disable the ability to listen to HKGFM.
- Check the stream is running. Look at the bottom of the media player and check the information is telling you what channel you are listening to and the timer is running as well.

Buffering:
Unfortunately buffering still happens on the internet and has many possible causes, but with some simple tips you should be able to keep the buffering to a minimum, if not - non-existent.
Some common causes:
- Some older computer systems simply can't handle running multiple programs and an incoming stream. So if you really don't need other programs running it is best to close them.
- Slower dial-up connections.
- Heavy internet traffic.
- When areas of the internet are down, then a simple connection can turn into a multitude of 'hops' which causes time delays and ultimately can lead to buffering.
